What is WFOFAD?
The Witney Festival of Food and Drink (WFOFAD) is an annual charitable event showcasing local artisan food and drink producers.

When is WFOFAD 26?
The Witney Festival of Food and Drink will be held on Saturday, 16th May 2026. The event runs from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Where is WFOFAD held?
Nearly 70 stalls will be set up inside the beautiful medieval Saint Mary’s Church, throughout the church grounds, and on Church Green.

Who comes to WFOFAD?
In 2025 we hosted 4,000 visitors and 65+ artisan stalls. Talented musicians provide live music for festival-goers in the Music Tent. Local children’s’ clubs showcased their skills and talents at the Festival Arena on Church Green.

Who can have a stand at WFOFAD?
WFOFAD 26 is open to small, local, independent food and drink producers.
Stallholder bookings are now almost full.

Festival Bar & UE Popup café
Our Festival Bar will be serving local craft ales from Little Ox and Tap Social, alongside refreshing ciders from Old Stag.
UE Coffee’s pop-up café brings their award-winning speciality coffee, freshly roasted here in Witney, together with a selection of delicious drinks.
Frequently Asked Visitor Questions
- Is there an entrance fee? Yes, festival-goers pay £3 for a ticket, with all funds raised going to charity
- Do children pay? Children under the age of 12 and accompanied by parents are free
- Are dogs allowed? Dogs are welcome outside in the churchyard and on Church Green. However, due to health and safety concerns and the busy nature of the event, we cannot allow dogs inside St Mary’s Church during WFOFAD. At all other times dogs are always welcome at St Mary’s!
- How many stall holders are there? Almost 70 stalls were at WFOFAD 25. We are almost sold out for WFOFAD 26.
- Can I smoke? No smoking or vaping is allowed inside St Mary’s church
- Who organises the Festival? WFOFAD is organised by the Parish of Witney Reg Charity #1129784. We all volunteer our time for free.
- What happens to funds raised by the event? Monies raised by the festival go towards the Parish of Witney, which has responsibility for the maintenance and renewal of St Mary’s so that our town’s ancient House of Prayer can be preserved for future generations.
